Information we collect

When you book or sign our waiver, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and your signature. We collect this information only to schedule appointments, deliver a signed copy of your waiver, communicate with you about your booking, and keep records for our own business and liability purposes.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to confirm and manage appointments, send your signed waiver (by email or, if no email is given, by SMS), respond to your messages, and provide our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number, we may send you SMS messages related to your appointment and a copy of your signed waiver. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Photography

With your consent (see the waiver below), we may photograph completed henna work for our portfolio and promotional use. We never publish your personal contact details alongside these photos. If you do not wish to be photographed, simply let Maryam know before your appointment.

Data sharing & service providers

To deliver your waiver and messages, we use trusted third-party providers (for example, an email delivery service and an SMS provider). These providers process your information only to perform those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@henna-by-maryam.com. You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP.

Client Waiver & Consent

The following terms are presented to and agreed to by each client before a henna application.

1. Natural Product & Allergies

I understand that henna is a natural plant-based product. I confirm that I have no known allergies to henna or its components. A patch test is available on request, and I accept full responsibility for any allergic reaction.

2. Skin Sensitivity

I confirm that the area to be decorated is free of cuts, rashes, sunburn, or other skin conditions. I will inform the artist of any sensitivities before the application begins.

3. Aftercare

I understand that proper aftercare is required for the best results. The artist is not responsible for staining results affected by my own aftercare, skin chemistry, or activity after the appointment.

4. Results May Vary

I acknowledge that henna stain color and longevity vary from person to person and that no specific result is guaranteed.

5. Photography Consent

I grant Henna By Maryam permission to photograph the completed work for portfolio and promotional use. No personal contact details will be shared.

6. Release of Liability

I release Henna By Maryam, its artists, and representatives from any liability for any reaction, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from this service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By signing the waiver, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the terms stated above.
